We are looking for a Communication Officer who will operate from our office in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. Do you want to take on this challenge? Then continue reading!

As Communication Officer you contribute to VVOB’s ambition and values by being responsible for the communicative part of our projects and country operations. In doing so you make sure the right information reaches the right target group at the right time, in order to increase the knowledge level and support base of both internal and external stakeholders.

The Communication Officer reports to the Country Programmes Manager. You are part of and work closely together with members of the education and other departments (MEAL and Operations).

You will: 

· Develop inspiring, audience-tailored content showcasing project progress and impact.

· Manage digital platforms (website, social media) to ensure consistent, engaging updates for our audiences.

· Support visibility events and campaigns to strengthen VVOB’s public presence. Ensuring logistics, administrative and communication aspects to have successful outputs.

· Produce and quality-check communication materials, ensuring alignment with VVOB’s visual identity.

· Coordinate communication tasks, services and contracts with the communication team at our global office in Brussels, donors, and external service providers.

· Collect, edit and manage high-quality communication assets (photos, videos, interviews).

· Maintain communication databases and internal communication tools (Teams, SharePoint) and support colleagues with their communication outputs.

· Contribute to the development and implementation of VVOB’s communication plan and visibility strategy.

· Support international colleagues through interpretation and translation in the development of project materials.
