Position in the organisation:
As the Project Coordinator, you contribute to this ambition by coordinating a specific project and ensuring the impact, sustainability, relevance, efficiency, and effectiveness of a certain project.
The project coordinator reports to the Education Manager, the head of the education department. and is part of the education department. Within a specific project you are coordinating (no direct management), all the needed resources for this project (technical and operational). Through the respective line managers, the project coordinator works closely with all the other functional departments in the country.
Result areas of this position:
· You ensure good project management, including, amongst others, planning, budgeting, monitoring, … and a timely realisation of key milestones and final project outcomes.
· You advise, guide, motivate and support colleagues of the project team in their work to contribute to project results.
· You identify and communicate needed project-related info towards a wide range of stakeholders (partners, donors, internally)
· You offer technical advice, guidance, and support to favour capacity development and project results.
